Mini-Con Locals Manchester 2024 Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions    

 1. The UFO Identified Mini-Con Locals (referred to as the Event in these terms) is to be held on September 3rd 2024, held by UFO Identified (referred to as ‘Us’ and  ‘We’ in these terms), at the The Sale, Sale, Greater Manchester.

3. These terms and conditions apply to every person attending the conference (referred to as ‘You’ in these terms).      

2. Registration    

1. All registrations for the conference are subject to these terms and conditions    

2. All information provided to us by you should be accurate and up to date 

3. We reserve the right to decline admission to anyone who appears  intoxicated or who’s behaviour we see as disruptive.    

4. You must ensure that you conduct yourself in a respectful manner at all times and respect the views and opinions of others.    

5. If booking on behalf of another person you must ensure they are agreeable to these terms and conditions.

6. Children may attend but be warned that some content may not be suitable for younger age children, there is a minimum age of 10 - please don't bring any babies! There are no concessions for child's tickets.        

3. Data Protection and Privacy    

1. Any information provided to us by you will be held in accordance to data protection laws.    

2. Photographs and video may be recorded during the event. If you do not wish to appear in these forms of media, you must inform us prior to the conference starting.     

3. Any media taken during the event by us remains the property of us and can be used in marketing and promotional materials. This does not affect your statutory rights.        

4. Fees and Cancellations    

1. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.    

2. The conference and speakers may vary to the advertised schedule, however we do commit to keeping the line-up as close to advertised as within our means. Tickets will not be refunded in the the case of a schedule change.   

3. Seats are allocated on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved. The event doors will open from 7.15pm and it is  advised that you arrive on time to secure preferred seating                 

5. Content and Intellectual Property   

1. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights for all presentations and learning materials provided during the event remain the property of their authors.    

2. You may not record the event at any point on video or audio recorders 

3. Any content you take away with you must not be replicated or amended without written permission of the authors      

6. Liability    

1. We are not liable for any accident or illness sustained during the event.  This includes personal injury and or death. We are not liable for any thefts of property or damage caused to property during the event. This includes vehicles parked in the adjoining car park.    

2. Views expressed by speakers are their own and we are not responsible for any information they may disseminate verbally or in their material.        

7. General    

1. Nobody else has rights under this contract which is between us and you. You have the right to decline these terms and conditions at any time before the event commences. 

2. Purchase of a ticket and subsequent entry to the venue confirms your acceptance of these terms.
