Life has been very different over the past two years. We have lived through a global pandemic that resulted in getting together with others something of a distant memory. Now life slowly returns to a new state of ‘normal’, we at UFO Identified thought it was time for a mini conference to get our community back together and discussing the matters, evidence, experiences and changes that the Ufology field has encountered in recent times.

Almost 100 delegates came to our sold out event held at Walmer Bridge Village Hall, just outside Preston on October 9th. Placing the tickets on sale two months ago, we took a deep breath to see if anyone would in fact want to get back together. Thankfully, we breathed a sigh of relief when the event tickets flew out and Mini-Con 2021 became a reality, dawning on us that we had a little over 8 weeks to get things organised.
Mini-Con flourished with expert speakers who engaged the audience with a wealth of experience and knowledge. First up to the lectern was author Graeme Rendall who presented on the Foo Fighters of WW2 which is the basis for his new book ‘UFOs Before Roswell’. This was followed by a frank and emotional address by Philip Kinsella who spoke about his personal experiences, the greys and consciousness, cementing him as a long time researcher and author in the field of the paranormal and of UAPs.

Following a filling tea of pie and peas, fitting for the Lancashire setting, guests mingled with speakers, stall holders and of course with each other to catch up on important developments from the last couple of years and reflection of life during the pandemic. Books were signed, new friends made and the sound of chatter and laughter was heard again.
The second half of the conference came with Andy McGrillen from That UFO Podcast who exhibited his recent interview with Luis Elizondo, which had some direct and frank questioning of the former Director of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program in the US. Many questions followed from delegates who were keen to get Andy’s take on the authenticity of Elizondo. This was followed by an intriguing talk from Dave Hodrien of BUFOG fame. He spoke with gusto and credence on abductions and screen memories, citing actual cases he has examined in his career as an investigator.
Closing the conference with a sold out raffle, we reflected on the day and how it was wonderful to get the community back together. Social media lit up with huge praise for the mini con and people commented on how much they had enjoyed the experience. So now, there are plans being made for how we can better this in 2022. Watch this space because UFO Identified are now on the galactic map !
