So, for months the UFO communities have waited with baited breath for the next big release…. the next step in disclosure…. only to disappointed yet again by the powers that be in using old news, old footage, old statements just dressed up with different people telling the same story with the good old “neither confirm nor deny” cherry on the top. It’s like going to theatre to see Hamlet every year for a decade……it’s the same play only the actors change. The information given out is nothing the UFO community, both experts and enthusiast alike, haven’t already seen and debated on but are we really surprised? This information has been getting slowly dripped out in carefully orchestrated leaks, hints and inside sources reports. And yet we sat riveted, trawling the internet and social media for any hint of what would come out just in case they were going to be straight for once. Turns out it was a wasted effort, while the report alluded to advanced technology it was quickly followed by “USG or Industry Developmental Programs” and “technologies deployed by China, Russia, another nation, or a non-governmental entity” thus making it very clear that they are not considering or will entertain other worldly sources.

Governments continually hide information “for the good of the people”, you would think they would start to pay attention to the numbers. In the USA a recent CBS news poll two out of three people believe, another report states 60% believe in the existence of aliens.

Let’s face it if he did no-one would be shocked, even the Vatican have said they are fine with it yet still they talk in riddles and won’t give a clear straight answer. That’s just the US what about our own government?

The UK government are considering reopening the UFO desk previously closed down in 2009 but only if the US releases enough evidence. The UK government are simply ignoring the issue until the Americans do it first, you need a stepladder to get onto the rug they sweep so much under it. While countries like Canada, Brazil, Chile, Peru and even many countries in Europe openly have offices dealing with the sightings and investigations of UAP/UFO’s but our government won’t even entertain being progressive and speaking out for themselves. Not only do they ignore the issue they are obstructive and dismissive. This website has contacted and submitted freedom of information act requests to several agencies with only a few being honoured, some are ignored, some try to distract with “here’s one we did earlier” tactic hoping you go away and don’t press for the information you actually asked for, we have had “sorry no, that information has been lost/deleted” from an organisation that accounts for every paperclip in a box and in one case we were completely dismissed with “this is a frivolous request and complete waste of our time” so that’ll be a “no” then? Don’t get me wrong not all have been obstructive, one or two could not be any more helpful than they were and that was appreciated. Various petitions have been set up and signed but seem to vanish into the ether never to be seen again. No doubt the US’s lack of true disclosure will have the British government as a whole breathing a collective sigh of relief.

The UFO community is growing by the day, mainstream media now openly publishing and broadcasting stories about the phenomenon some without even saying the words “little green men”. Newspapers that would never touch the subject suddenly doing serious full-page spreads. Its time our government stepped up and took a stand and released what they know and not the watered down, half buried snippets you have to dig through for 42 days without sleep…..I’m really quite tired.

I am no expert, I don’t have Luis Elizondo,  I may not be an expert like the names mentioned above but I will not give up, I will keep searching and waiting for them to admit and acknowledge the here and now. If we, the UFO community, not just here but all over the world, work together and share information and keep investigating every sighting we can, sooner or later the truth will out and there will be no room for denial and evasion. Until then we can keep shouting, keep asking questions, keep petitioning and maybe we’ll get lucky… who knows.
