Barbara Lamb was no stranger to unusual phenomenon. Hailing from California, Barbara was a registered psychotherapist who studied crop circles and the patterns made by them in her spare time. She also supported people to undergo regression therapy as part of her work and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016 for her outstanding contribution to ufology from the International UFO Congress.
In 1968 whilst having a massage at a spa, Barbara experienced her first out of body experience. Speaking at a conference in 2013, she explained how she found herself flying through the air having a “beautiful experience”. Taking close notice of where she was flying, Barbara was sure she was somewhere over the middle east.
Finding herself back in her body when the massage came to an end, Barbara told the therapist what she had experienced. The therapist told her she had experienced astral projection and that it was obvious that she had “not been present” in her body during the massage. From that moment on, Barbara would find herself having similar experiences throughout her life.
Put simply, one day, around 3pm whilst walking into her kitchen she came face to face with a reptilian being. He was just stood there. Unafraid of what she was experiencing and knowing full well she was alert and conscious, Barbara walked towards the reptilian.
Barbara describes an overwhelming feeling of peace at the time and offered the being her hand. Within a split second he simply vanished.
Curious to find out more, Barbara had a colleague put her under hypnotic regression. During this Barbara recalled the creature being around 7ft tall, with yellow eyes and scaly skin. He told her telepathically.” Ha Barbara, good, good. Now you know we are actually real. We do exist and have contacts with certain people”
Whilst Barbara found her reptilian visitor friendly, there are many theories around this species of alien being bloodthirsty and combative. People who agree with this theory believe that reptilians have been on Earth since ancient times, manipulating our DNA as they go. There is a belief that a well-established interbreeding programme has been underway for many years. Some go so far as to say that the reptilians have infiltrated positions of power within government, royalty and entertainers.
Whilst there is little in the way to back these claims up, theorists such as David Icke speak regularly on the UFO circuit on the matter. Current research done in the US shows 4% of the American public believe in this reptilian theory which is somewhere in the region of 11 million people.
Whilst most think this to be a theory devised by a modern-day conspirator, it actually dates back well before that. Robert E Howard was the first to mention the reptilian hybridisation in his book “The Shadow Kingdom” in the 1920’s. However, he stated that he found his research from the 1888 book by Helena Blavatsky. David Icke goes further back to the bible itself stating it contains evidence of such theories, from when Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden due to Eve being tempted by a serpent.
There are apparently a number of key characteristics of such shape shifting reptilians. Having green or hazel eyes, low blood pressure, random body scars and a love of space and science can give them away. Whatever your belief in a reptilian species, Barbara Lamb always maintained her experience was friendly. Her 40 plus years in alien research never led her to think otherwise.
