Is the disclosure movement a lie or simply misdirection? It has long been known to many that to hide a book you must hide it in a library or hide a letter in amongst other letters, the more mundane the better. Is this what has been happening with regard to the so-called release of information? It is not only our government but that of the USA and other governments too. With regard to UFO/UAP reports, information and correspondence recently released there seems, at first glance, to a great deal of disclosure but are we in fact being misled?
Having recently been temporarily incapacitated it has left me at the mercy of the remote control and the internet. This happened to coincide with the channel Blaze showing UFO week. Countless hours of UFO documentaries have been watched and it seems to me that while there is a great deal of talk about disclosure, witnesses and evidence, very little new information has been given and evidence shown. These large channels and production companies seem to churn out rehashed versions of the same information just in another format. The same faces appear on our screens, Nick Pope, formally Ministry of Defence now labelled himself as a journalist who appears on everything from UFO conspiracies to Ancient aliens telling the same story.
Renowned award-winning investigative journalist Linda Moulton Howe appearing on most of the same episodes to seemingly give the production more credibility also trots out the same theories and information from “trusted sources that need to remain nameless” but essentially it is all to recover the same ground. There is nothing much more to be learned from the Kenneth Arnold string of “saucer” objects back in 1947 nor will we ever know if the truth has been revealed about the Roswell incident, also in 1947, because the truth may well be buried in a two line clip within the thousands of hours filming done on the subject. We all know Dr Hynek and the misdirection used way back then and all about the so-called Majestic 12 and I don’t know about you but Ltn Colonel Halt and Mr John Burroughs have been interviewed so many times over the years about the Rendlesham Forest incident it feels like they are distant uncles that you only see at Christmas and big family weddings. My point is why are they rehashing material that has been done to death when there are so many other areas to be looked at.
The MOD claim to have released all their UFO files in the national Archive, I have logged on and downloaded and read so much information and numbers that I now have shares in Anadin migraine relief tablets. Surely these big entertainment channels and large production companies with their vast resources and manpower can get through the files, correlate, crosscheck and document dates, locations and sighting details far more efficiently than little old me on my laptop. So much material has been released all at once it is simply not possible for one, or even a small group of investigators to possibly pick through the reports and replies and internal emails related to the report to retain the will to live never mind formulate a map and discern patterns in the sightings. There have been so many other instances of UFO/UAP clusters in the UK alone, the north west being a hotspot. Only recently black triangular crafts spotted all over the north west down to Cheshire and into North Wales, where is the interest from the media? From the late 90’s to the present there are multiple sightings and reports however even the police files available online only go to 2009 and Freedom of Information Act requests are spotty at best. Some regions police forces are helpful and comply with requests although may omit some due to “Data Protection Act” limitations while others don’t bother even replying and at least two, through personal experience, have replied rudely denying the request labelling it as a frivolous waste of their time and a pointless endeavour.
So, it seems the whole idea of disclosure hasn’t quite reached the lower echelons of our Government and services. The USAs recent release of the Nimitz footage is also something we have probably all seen way before they officially released it. John Podesta putting it out there simply by pressuring the Government for disclosure was in itself an admission of what they knew just without the details long before it was considered by the Pentagon.
It still seems that the powers that be, and this includes the larger TV companies, don’t really want disclosure and are using different tactics to achieve their goal. Information overload, misdirection, active blocking as well as historical incidents made to look like new information. They could also be relying on lone investigators or small groups to simply give up under the weight of information and personal time constraints.
Either way we know nothing new and I personally think that until there is another Roswell or Rendlesham that, thanks to todays technology, they will not be able to keep a lid on will true disclosure ever really be accomplished.
