Liverpool Sky Watch – 14th November 2022

October 6, 2026

By Ash Ellis

After a quick bite to eat and a drink in a local pub, we welcomed a couple of first-timers to our meet-ups and then head out to this evening’s skywatch location, this time the quiet promenade at Otterspool, Liverpool overlooking the River Mersey, a location we chose after Natalie’s recent presentation at Mini-Con 2022 looking at UFOs spotted over the Mersey. After a 30 minute washout as the heavens opened, the rain stopped and we were able to set-up for a comfortable few hours of star-gazing, sky watching and friendly conversation.

We also welcomed Sindra, a photojournalist from Sweden who was over in the UK for a week visiting various UFO hotspots and speaking to those actively involved in researching the topic, including us. All photos are courtesy of Sindra and when his project is finished we will link it on the site 🙂 It was great to have him join us and thank him for reaching out to us to be a part of his work.

Sightings wise, there wasn’t much to report. Plenty of cloud cover didn’t help but a good time was had by all, culminating in the usual hot drinks and hot dogs courtesy of our Abi.
